Mehndi and henna

Some times we get confused and its very common question what is mehndi and what is henna and what is the difference between henna and mehndi. mehndi is last production of henna. In other words we can say that or assume that the wet paste made from the dry leave of mehndi are called henna. So i can say that, henna is the Arabic word for mehndi, and mehndi is the Indian or urdu word for henna.It is used in every festival and events.Some people say that tattoos are also inspired by hinna and mehndi .
